Contract Manager

Redpath Partners are proud to be partnering with Service Stream to assist them in recruiting a Contract Manager to work on the Mount Piper Power Station in Portland, NSW. Service Stream is a leading national service provider who develop and operate Australia's essential communications, energy and water networks in the telecommunications, utilities and transport industries. They specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of new and existing networks and deliver end-to-end engineering and asset management solutions on behalf of their clients.

**The role**

The Contract Manager is responsible for Management of Professional service and Project Specific resources on their designated contract. The principal challenge for this position is to ensure that the contractual obligations are fulfilled, Health and safety of the team are maintained and a high standard of performance is delivered. Working closely with their customer to improve and grow the service offering under the contract.

**About you**
- Trade Certificate or Engineering qualification with 5-7 years in management (or similar senior level) of experience
- Experience in estimation costing, planning and working to a budget.
- A sound understanding and knowledge of Operations, maintenance and shutdown principles in multi-discipline contracting environment.
- A high level of business and commercial (contractual) acumen backed by a sound ability to interpret, read and manage budgets, financial reports and analyze schedules
- Use advance communication capabilities to develop and appropriately articulate business cases for the organization to make informed decisions on critical issues.
- Highly effective written and oral communications skills;
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiating and diplomacy skills;
- Driver’s license
