Venue Manager

Flamin Galah Brewing Co is looking for a Venue Manager.

With quick growth since opening in May 2021, the brewery needs another capable set of hands to help keep a high standard of management.

Established in 2018, Flamin Galah has exceeded growth expections with brewing capacity doubling in less then 1 year. We are extremely passionate about beer and have recently won some awards given by craft beer industry experts, which we are very proud of.

Founded by born and bred Jervis Bay locals, we are community focussed and regularly partake in charitable causes, helping to better the local people and local companies who support us. Giving back to a community that raised us is our greatest honour.

The new venue manager will be our biggest brand ambassador. Being the face of the venue and representing us at the highest possible standard.

We are looking for an individual who has impeccable leadership & organisational skills, someone who gets the job done professionally and confidently. Reporting directly to the CEO's of the company.

Duties include but not limited to:
Hiring & training of new staff.

Supervising day to day running of the venue including bookings for our new upstairs bar (construction commencing in the new year) with adjoining small function room for 40 guests.

Greeting and creating long lasting relationships with our local customers.

Rostering & organising 2 weekly shifts in advance. Direct contact with staff sometimes outside of hours in emergencies.

Strong RSA knowledge and confident ability to execute refusal of service, manage complaints, liase with authorites and where needed write up incident reports.

Encouraging team leader with ability to communicate and solve problems under high pressure & deadlines.

Organising weekly stocktake and ordering spirits, groceries, bar items, sundry and fruit.

Ability and experience working in a fast paced, high volume venue.

2 Year management experience minimum.

Working week is Wednesday-Sunday. 38hrs minimum.

**Salary**: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
