**Business Unit Overview**

Our Operations unit is the engine room of Superloop - responsible for maintaining and supporting all of our products and internal technical infrastructure to ensure the best possible service to both our customers and our very own business. Our Operations unit is responsible for ensuring that the business has the technical capability and capacity to deliver services to all Superloop customers ranging from Home Broadband to International Wholesale.

**Role Purpose**

The WHS Administrator is responsible for supporting the development and engagement of a consistent and positive WHS culture across the organisation. The role will provide support to employees on WHS related issues. They will be a key resource in the implementation of an effective WHS Management System, playing an important role in ensuring compliance with WHS Regulations. This role plays a critical part in fostering a safe work environment, a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Writing and reviewing WHS related policies and procedures.
- Conduct Contractor WHS onboarding.
- Monitoring and reporting WHS Training and tracking completion rates.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate training and ensure up to date induction material for new employees.
- Maintaining safety records and documentation.
- Attending WHS Committee meetings, taking minutes, and distributing them for future meetings.
- Administering workplace inspections.
- Providing timely WHS advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the investigation process of incidents, near misses and unsafe work practices including the reporting of these with appropriate control measures to the WHS Manager.
- Ensure hazards and unsafe workplace conditions/practices have been identified, reported and are actioned. Monitor corrective actions to ensure risks are eliminated, isolated or minimised.
- Supporting workplace safety by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and legislative requirements.
- Assist with identifying suitable duties for return-to-work programs, job dictionaries etc.
- Handling sensitive information, including health records, while ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
- Performing general administrative and ad hoc duties to support the WHS Manager.
- Undertake appropriate communication and consultation as required by legislation.
- Assist the WHS Manager with the following tasks:

- Inspecting and auditing workplaces, processes and equipment for safety and compliance
- Delivery of safety projects and initiatives promoting health and wellbeing.
- Assessing workplace hazards, risks and controls.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience and knowledge of WHS and Risk Management systems essential.
- Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s degree or Certificate IV) in work health and safety management
- Highly developed administrative and organisational skills.
- High level problem solving, decision making and written, including the ability to manage conflict and negotiate with others in relation to the position objectives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-performing, deadline-driven environment.
- Highly developed computer skills including word, power point and excel data base skills.
- Ability to produce high quality work, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
