Concept Caravans is a leading manufacturer of high quality caravans. We have a vacancy for an Architectural Draftsperson for our business located in Campbellfield, Victoria. The role of the position is to prepare all architectural & working drawings to assist production staff (including builders, plumbers, electricians) to build caravan chassis & architectural components of caravans to technical & regulatory requirements. This position is being offered on a fulltime permanent basis.

To qualify this position, you must meet the following essential criteria
- Certificate Architectural Draftsperson or Degree/Associate Degree in Architecture or equivalent or Diploma in Interior design or equivalent
- Minimum 18 months **recent** experience in preparing drawings/design for caravan manufacture
- Exceptional drafting skills in both 2 & 3D and attention to detail in all aspects of drafting work
- Must have extensive experience in the use of design software AutoCAD for caravan manufacture
- Must be familiar with and have experience in the use of Microvellum software
- Excellent communication skills

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all drawings are consistent with compliance regulations
- Prepare 2 & 3D modelling & CAD drawings for chassis & caravans showing plans, materials & dimensions/specifications
- Collaborate closely with design team to translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings & 3D models
- Prepare and make adjustments to meet customer & regulatory requirements
- Work through design issues with drafting supervisor, production Director & design team
- Complete caravan designs by preparing drawings & plans and liaising with building and other staff
- Inspect work & materials at various Concept sites to ensure built as per plans & drawings

**Remuneration/Salary/Conditions**

$73,150-$78,000
- Remuneration will reflect current market conditions, experience and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
- 38 hour week to be worked 7.00am-3.30pm Mon-Thur, 7.00am-1.00pm Fri
- Annual leave to be taken during scheduled closedown periods
- Compulsory Tea & lunch breaks
- **This position cannot be worked remotely and is based in our Head Office in Campbellfield 3061**:

- Staff car parking provided on site

Pay: $73,150.00 - $78,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
