**As a Support Worker you will be**:

- Supporting adults with complex mental health, psychosocial disabilities and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model. This requires someone resilient with empathetic and has great communication skills with the ability to set firm boundaries whilst having a positive attitude.
- Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Promoting choice and control and show eagerness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Efficient in computer skills and report writing
- Living by our values and bring a positive, proactive, and engaging version of yourself

**Some of our requirements**:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm-6am).

**Please note**: successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required. As part of our Covid-19 response the Scope Covid-19 policy requires all our employees regardless of the job to have received at least 3 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine. Please note that the offer will be conditional on meeting these requirements.
