We are currently seeking committed experienced Support Professionals who are full of enthusiasm & beaming with energy, who are exceptional communicators, willing to go the extra mile, have a great understanding of individual supports, who love going on adventures and are passionate in providing dignified support care

This role provides rostered shifts that ensure stability and the opportunity to provide genuine impact with our clients. We are currently looking for Support Professionals to assist with daily living with participants across the -**_Toowoomba region. _**

Our participsnt is active, outgoing, and enjoys being in the community. This role is suited to someone who is physically active, patient, understanding, and confident managing complex behaviours, mental health challenges, and supporting young people.

**Role Description**
- Assist people to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full life;
- Personal care including continence care, mealtime management, helping people shower, getting dressed and performing daily activities, laundry etc.
- Assisting with light housework;
- Manage and respond appropriately to challenging behaviours and boundary-setting;
- Assist people with physical and psycho-social disabilities to remain independent in their own homes;
- Supporting clients to appointments in the community.
- Providing therapy assistance to support the implementation of physical, speech, OT and psychological plans and strategies (as directed by their allied health teams)
- Supporting people to develop and build self-confidence;
- Reviewing and updating care support plans.

**Shifts available**
- Morning: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Mon, Fri)
- Afternoon: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Tue-Sat), 10:00am - 4:00pm (Mon)
- Overnight: Available as required

**Qualifications and Experience**

**_ Essential_**
- Current QLD Driver’s License
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Yellow Card/NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Compulsory Comprehensive Insurance on private vehicle
- NDIS Orientation Certificate or ability to obtain.
- Experience working with young people, mental health, and complex behaviours
- Understanding of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and its impacts
- Working knowledge of trauma-informed practice and behaviour support plans
- Currently located in the Toowoomba region
- Ability to work across AM, PM, and overnight shifts, including weekends

**_ Desirable_**
- Certificate III in Individual Support Disability/Aged Care or related studies (or willing to undertake)
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS system.
- Energetic, proactive, and able to maintain professional boundaries
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
