Family Therapy Supervisor

**About the role**:
The Functional Family Therapy - Child Welfare Family Therapy Supervisor provides supervision of therapists covering high risk clinical cases as directed by the Manager; oversees the day-to-day functioning of the team(s) and ensures that all requirements are met for the monitoring of the FFT-CW program, including reports, documentation, and adherence to agency policy and procedures. The Family Therapy Supervisor will continue to carry cases, with a reduced case load in order to accommodate the additional supervisory experiences and responsibilities.

**This is a Full Time, Permanant**_(38 hrs per week) _**opportunity based in Nowra and Shoalhaven area, NSW Australia within the FFT-CW Unit. The position reports to the Manager Family Preservation & Restoration Services.**

**Key Selection Criteria**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
- An appropriate tertiary qualification equivalent to Masters Social Work/Psychology/Counselling or an experienced social worker/Psychologist with over 5 years’ experience and relevant therapeutic training and skills.
- Post Graduate training in relevant child, adolescent and family clinical practice, family work and systemic thinking is strongly preferred.
- Proven highly developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and excellent engagement skills.
