**About the role**

We are offering an opportunity for the right Support Worker to have regualr ongoing shifts. You must have a genuine care and interest for people with disability. As well as being relible, understanding of a familiy's role in the care of their loved one, easy going and able to brush things off.Please note this is a community position not in a group home setting.

Our participant is a young person with challanging behaviours. Experience working with challenging behaviours and disabilities is a must. Our participant would like to be supported by someone friendly and calm who has an open mind.
- Must speak clear English
- Be available weekday afternoons
- Willing to travel to shifts if required

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing activities that are engaging for young people
- Following behaviour support plan
- Providing community access as required
- Track and document an individual’s progress through detailed note keeping

**Skills & Experience**
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- A genuine care and interest in supporting people with disability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both participants and families.
- Experiance working with challanging behaviours
- Minium one year experience supporting people with disabilities.

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders. Evidance will be requested.

Pay: $32.00 - $58.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift

- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
