**About Us**:
St Pauls Lutheran Outside School Hours Care is a highly regarded and established provider of Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) programs. We are committed to creating safe and enriching environments for children, promoting their holistic development while supporting working families. We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced OSHC Educators/Responsible Persons to join our team and contribute to the success of our programs.

**Position Overview**:
As an Experienced OSHC Educator/Responsible Person, you will play a crucial role in the supervision, care, and development of children in our OSHC program. You will create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment, fostering the social, emotional, and educational growth of the children under your care. Your responsibility will include maintaining compliance with OSHC regulations and ensuring the highest standards of safety, program planning, and communication with parents/guardians.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Care**: Oversee and engage with children during OSHC sessions, providing appropriate care and support.
- **Program Planning**: Develop and implement age-appropriate, educational, and recreational activities to enhance the children's development.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure a safe and secure environment, adhering to OSHC regulations and health and safety procedures.
- **Communication**: Maintain effective communication with parents/guardians, colleagues, and management.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and child development progress.
- **First Aid and CPR**: Administer first aid and CPR when necessary and in accordance with certification.
- **Blue Card**: Possess a valid Blue Card or be willing to obtain one before employment commences.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACEQUA equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an OSHC setting.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of OSHC regulations and standards.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.64 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
- Rotating roster
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
