Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Storage Administrator.

This is a long-term contract for 12 months with 2x12 months extension options, located at our Client's **Canberra** location.
- Provide technical solutions and independently undertaking project work associated with the analysis, design, implementation and support of NetApp NAS and NetApp E-Series;
- Provide technical solutions and independently undertaking project work associated with the analysis, design, implementation and support of CommVault;
- Provide expertise with cloud storage;
- Take part in the analysis and design of storage related infrastructure initiatives to align with the ICT Strategic Plan;
- Assist with the procurement of storage related hardware and software, and ongoing liaison with vendors in relation to product issues, defects, patches and enhancements;
- Provide level 3 support for storage related services;
- Participate in on-call support outside business hours;
- Assist with Linux, Unix support
- Assist with enablement of backups for cloud services in AWS/Azure

**To be successful in this role, you should have**:

- At least 2 years of ongoing experience as administering NetaApp NAS and NetaApp E-Series.
- In depth working knowledge of the ISCI, NFS and CIFS Protocols.
- Networking knowledge, particularly port aggregation, VLANs and protocols.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining cloud-based storage services such as AWS S3.

**It is desirable if you have**:

- Experience administering CommVault/Simpana
- Experience administering native cloud based backup services on AWS/Azure
- Experience on Unix, Linux or Windows Servers.
