Tyre Technician

JAX Tyres & Auto is excited to welcome a new, experienced tyre technician to their friendly team. In this role, you will use your expertise to safely fit and repair tyres, while working in a well-equipped and organised workshop. You will work closely with motor mechanics, wheel aligners and sales staff to deliver the best service to our valued customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store with peace of mind driving. Your main day-to-day tasks would include:

- Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear
- Fitting, balancing, repairing and servicing tyres
- Providing your expert advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks of your customer’s vehicles
- Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests as required

COVID-19 considerations:
All Customers are to wear a Mask. Surfaces and Customer Vehicles are wiped down and sprayed with Anti Bacterial Spray. Customers will have no contact with Workshop Staff

Ability to commute/relocate:

- PYMBLE, NSW 2073: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Tyre Fitting: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
