As you walk through our doors, you will find our warm and inviting Centre Administrator at our reception. You will also see our fully equipped Chef’s kitchen and community lounge where parents can catch up with each other or educators over a fresh barista-made coffee

Green Leaves Early Learning Mawson Lakes is a beautiful purpose-built centre located in the heart of the community, within walking distance to multiple bus stops and has access to free parking. The centre is licenced for 112 children per day.

About the role
- Support the Centre in preparing nutritious meals, purees, and special meals for babies and children as well as assist with budgeting and costing for the kitchen when required
- Enjoy greeting people in a friendly manner and provide barista service to families (experience preferred but training provided if you are not experienced with this)
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements.
- Be a part of the centre's regular culinary classes with the children
- Be available and willing to step into the Chef's role during any periods of absence or leave

**Qualifications**:

- A Hospitality related Certificate and Food Safety Certificate
- A current Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
- Prior experience working in a childcare or aged care kitchen (preferred, but not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Solid time management skills with a high level of initiative
- Availability to work 25 hours a week (5 hours per day), and additional hours when the Chef is absent or on leave.
