Cleaning Services Manager, Sydney Airport

As the **Cleaning Manager**, you will report to** **the Airport Operations Manager and will organise, control and coordinate the periodical cleaning at Sydney Airport to ensure the efficient delivery of Assetlink’s cleaning contract. You will be leading a team of staff who are responsible for scheduled cleaning tasks in areas that cannot be cleaned daily.

**This role will require availability 5 days a week,** 1**0 pm - 6 am.**

**What you will be doing**
- Organise, control and coordinate the periodical cleaning work across all 3 terminals
- Communicate effectively with the Assetlink airport leadership group on the progress of periodical work
- Manage cleaning staff rosters in conjunction with the Roster Coordinator
- Prepare safety and operational audits
- Provide regular machinery assessments
- Manage site Subcontractors and arrange periodical work
- Create and sustain a safe and productive environment for all
- Lead and develop the on-site team: Senior Team Leaders and the frontline Cleaning Team members
- Prepare regular reports and analysis of business achievements, opportunities and targets, including risk assessments, cost benefit and SWOT analysis

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**You will have**
- Commercial cleaning experience, ideally with multiple types of equipment and machinery
- Demonstrated team leadership experience of large teams, including performance management
- Experience in large retail environment - advantage
- Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally
- Outstanding problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Exceptional time management, organisational and effective trouble shooting skills
- Positive and engaging manner with all stakeholders, strong customer service orientation
- Previous hands-on and formal staff training experience - ideal
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - essential
- Tertiary education preferred (not mandatory) or relevant work-related experience - ideal
- Current open NSW driver licence
- Fully vaccinated in COVID-19
