**About the Role**
We are now seeking an experienced client-centric **Technical Team Lead **to join our vibrant Melbourne team delivering corporate hybrid, virtual and face-to-face events. This is a permanent full-time position that is predominantly business hours with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, based on client bookings.
This is a hands-on client facing role, giving you the opportunity to assist in delivering various aspects of corporate events. On a day-to-day basis, you will take ownership of all technical components of each event and assist with general day to day venue support.
Your responsibilities include planning, co-ordinating and executing the technical and non-technical aspects of room setups and virtual events and assisting clients and instructors with requests during their events. You will also have the opportunity to develop relationships with regular clientele to refine their event experience.
The role supervises a small team of Venue Support Technicians, while supporting the Venue Manager with the daily operation of our two flagship CBD venues. You will also collaborate with our experienced Head Office team and support technicians across our venues in Australia and globally.
**About you**
You will:

- Have proven experience working in a primarily Windows based environment
- Have a solid knowledge of networking - TCP/IP, DHCP
- Have the ability to coordinate multi-premise video-conferencing solutions across both physical and virtual environments
- Show a solid understanding of audio-visual fundamentals and technologies
- Be calm under pressure, with proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Possess excellent communication skills and a customer service focus
- Display a strong attention to detail
- Have the ability to work unsupervised
- Be physically fit and able to perform corporate event room setups
