Undertakes jointing/splicing activities as required by Supervisor / Team Leader.
- Undertakes fault location and restoration using electronic location and testing equipment OTDR AND PON, Viavi.
- Coaches any less experienced jointers/splicers to enhance competence and skills, Internal / External.
- Knowledge of Network and the ability to Scope Civil works, supply “Mud Maps” and provide SORs. Working knowledge of Atlas
- **Identify potential hazardous situations and take corrective actions accordingly and nurture a work environment where OHS & E issues are dealt with proactively.**:

- Report on critical delays that effect the delivery of projects with successful outcomes to customers.
- Ensuring that appropriate tools, safety equipment and materials are available to enable the timely completion of tasks.
- Comply with Company’s productivity, safety, and quality standards.
- This position involves interaction, with customers and employees at several levels.
- Continual assessment of safety risks.

- ACMA Open Cablers License - both sides
- Construction Induction - White Card - both sides
- Valid Australian Drivers License - both sides
- Work Rights in Australia - ie birth certificate/passport/Australian citizenship details
- HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid (includes Provide CPR - renewed annually, Basic emergency life support and first aid)
- Working at Heights Safety Certificate RIIWHS204D (please note industry standard is that this course is refreshed every 3 years)

- Implement Traffic Management Plan ticket - VIC & QLD
- Implement Traffic Control Guidance Plan - NSW
- RIIWHS302D Implement traffic management plan
- RIIWHS201D Work safely and follow WHS policies and work procedures
- RIICOM201D Communicate in the workplace
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management (WA)
- Workzone Traffic Management (SA)
- Head and Shoulder Photo (with a blank/white background)
- enAble card - front and back and in colour (refer below for mandatory skills required)
- Skill 2 & 3 - Installing underground copper joint enclosure & Copper jointing (enAble)
- Skill 5 - Copper fault finding (enAble)
- Skill 23 - Premises lead-in identification and validation (FTTC) online training module (enAble)
- Skill 24 - Perform copper intercept (FTTC) (enAble)
- Skill 29 - Undertake fibre hygiene processes and basic testing
- Skill 30 - DPU installation, integration and swap-out (FTTC-OMMA)
- **Please note if you have Skill 9 - you will not require Skill 29 & 30**
- Skill 40b - Open or Restricted ACMA Registration

**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $49,832.13 - $99,670.56 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
