As a **Facility Cleaner**, you will maintain the cleanliness of the entire property including the front and back of house areas. This position is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of attention to detail but very rewarding with a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both our valued guest as well as our team. **A few of your responsibilities**: - Maintain the cleanliness of all public and back of house areas through vacuuming, dusting, mopping, scrubbing and polishing - Report any damage or faults to the Facility Cleaning Supervisors - Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines when handling and storing chemicals and equipment **What we are looking for**: - Flexible availability across a 7-day roster - Previous experience in hotel cleaning or heavy manual labour (highly desired) - Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods (desired but not essential) **About you**: With your meticulous attention to detail and drive to ensure a safe and well-presented property, you are poised to excel in this role. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our property at The Star.
