**About the Role**:
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and professional Disability Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care and support for both male and female clients. Our clients will be moving to Rosebud, VIC, and support services may begin as early as February 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care, including assistance with dressing, bathing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs.
- Assist with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Encourage social participation and community engagement.
- Foster positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with other team members.
- Promote the physical and emotional well-being of clients, offering encouragement and support.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work with male and female clients with varying disabilities.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to care.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions while being adaptable to changing needs.
- Commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Flexibility with working hours (evenings, weekends, and public holidays may be required).
- A car is required for community access and transportation of clients to appointments or social activities.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- CFA Certification (preferred)
- Infection and Prevention Control Certification (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
