**Trainee Carer - Bupa Banora Point**

Bupa Banora Point is a delightful care home set in a suburb of Tweed Heads in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. You’ll be close to the local community with shops, parks, schools and churches nearby. Looking for a meaningful career where you can make a real difference in people’s lives? Our Carer Traineeship program is a great way to start your journey in aged care - and we’ll support you every step of the way.

At our Banora Point home there are both full and part time opportunities available (min.21 hours per week) where you'll receive on-the-job experience, formal training and support - all leading to a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).

**What does the Trainee Carer program with Bupa look like?**

You’ll be supported to learn and grow as you provide quality, person-centred care to our residents. The training is designed to reflect your day-to-day responsibilities as a Carer, giving you the confidence and experience to thrive in the role. Upon completion there will be the option to transfer to a Carer position within the home..

**What we’re looking for**:

- A genuine passion for caring for others and working in aged care
- Empathy, patience, and a nurturing nature
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency only (_Unfortunately, working holiday and student visas with work restrictions are not eligible)_
