**About the Business Unit**:
Located across the NWMA are fourteen non-custodial locations in the Melbourne CBD, Broadmeadows, Coolaroo, Reservoir, Heidelberg, South Morang, Melton, Sunshine, Werribee, Derrimut, Laverton, Tullamarine and Thomastown, plus the Neighbourhood Justice Centre in Collingwood, and the Court Services Unit at the Melbourne Magistrates Court. There are four youth justice office locations in Fitzroy, Footscray, Preston and Sunshine. There are three maximum security prisons - Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, Melbourne Assessment Prison and the Metropolitan Remand Centre, as well as the minimum-security Judy Lazarus Transition Centre.
**About the Role**:
The Justice Officer role is to deliver friendly, efficient customer service to clients of the Department of Justice and Regulation, as well as providing consistent, timely and accurate administrative support to regional locations and staff.
Some of your duties will include (Accountabilities differ depending on the work location):
- Providing reception and telephone responses for the location.
The position is based at the Derrimut Community Work Service Centre. However, it is an expectation of the role that the successful applicant is willing to support at other locations across either the North Metro (Broadmeadows, Coolaroo, Reservoir, South Morang, Tullamarine, and Heidelberg). A driver's license is therefore preferred but not essential.
