**About the Role**:
Due to ongoing success and business growth KB Seafood Co are establishing a processing facility in Morningside, Queensland which will pack a variety of chilled and frozen seafood products to be distributed across Australia via our expansive supply chain network. This site will operate in a fast-paced environment working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are exceeding our customers’ expectations.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Scheduler to join the site team for our start up site.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for daily production planning and end to end supply chain scheduling.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Preparing, adjusting, revising the Daily Production Schedules as required and communicating any changes to relevant departments accordingly.
- Tabulating and reconciling Daily Forecast, Daily Actual Orders, Stock-On-Hand Inventory, and Actual Production Volume across all customers.
- Liaise with all stakeholders i.e., Processing, Despatch, Purchasing, QA and Sales Teams to ensure seamless communication in managing Management’s expectations in achieving Daily Sales Target.
- Ownership and coordination of daily production meetings.
- Recognise errors in the Material Requisition Plan which can lead to stock imbalances and over/under production.
- Data tracking, auditing, and investigation of root causes to identify errors and inaccuracies in Production Volume, Reports, Raw Material Stocktake, and Finished Goods Stocktake.
- Coordinating of Raw Material and Finished Goods transfers across warehouses.
- Assist with the demand and supply planning process and Weekly/Monthly Forecasting, to achieve a 100% Customer Service Level.
- Compiling and daily data entry of production orders into SAP and Marel.

**About You**:
You will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in a planning role within a fresh food manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of Production Planning Process Forecasting, S&OP Planning and Material Requirement Planning
- Knowledge of Master Data and Bill of Materials
- High level of communication skills both verbal and written
- High standards of accuracy and precision
- Results oriented approach, High attention to detail, self-motivated, focused, and reliable.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office suite knowledge.
- Previous experience working in FMCG/retail industry will be highly regarded.
