- **The Opportunity**
- **Responsibilities**
You will support the development of a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. You will assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of safety processes and training, identifying training requirements, maintain safety records, conduct site inductions and risk assessments.
- You will have regular staff and client interaction at all levels, as well as assisting in investigation of incidents, dangerous events and lost time occurrences, safety and systems monitoring and evaluation and in support of the company's safety objectives.
- **Essential Skills and Attributes**
- Must have at least two years’ previous experience working with infrastructure projects such as main roads works and upgrades
- Knowledge of or experience with heavy plant/machinery operation is desirable
- Certificate IV in WHS or higher and/ or Certificate IV Training & Assessment
- Current Drug & Alcohol Screening/Testing Qualification
- Ideally hold a current First Aid & CPR certificate (can be obtained)
- Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new IT systems
- Have WHS risk management knowledge to facilitate the development of safe work procedures
- A team player with a can-do attitude
