**Description**:
Reporting to the National Safety & Risk Manager, the Injury Management Advisor will be a key member of the National Safety team. The main focus of the role will be to implement the Return-To-Work program across Australia and New Zealand and is critical in ensuring efficient and effective return to work strategies.
Based in our Sydney, Gladesville Head Office, you will be the interface between the injured team member and the business. Flexible working is possible.
What you will be doing
Implement Injury Management objectives across Australia & New Zealand
Capture Injured worker data to enable effective treatment and rehabilitation options
Design return to work strategies for injured workers
Provide the business and insurers with incident insights to enable effective decision making
Assist injured workers with Workers Compensation
Promote incident response actions including notification of all injuries
Drive continuous improvement of policy and procedure to achieve better outcomes
**Skills and Experiences**:
You will have
Demonstrated competency in Return-To-Work duties
5+ years experience in a similar role
Deep understanding of Australian Workers Compensation and Privacy Legislation and Return-To-Work regulations
Familiar with Workers Compensation legislation for all jurisdictions across ANZ
RTW Coordinator’s certificate - essential
Relevant tertiary diploma and/or degree - advantage
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - essential
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Positive and engaging manner with all internal stakeholders with a pragmatic approach
Ability to interact effectively with external stakeholders including insurers, insurance broker representatives, medical professionals and solicitors
Strong problem-solving abilities with superior attention to detail
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Strong customer service orientation
Fully vaccinated in COVID-19
