APG is currently seeking 8 x Civil Labourers for a 6 Month contract (view to permanent) within a Sydney Government Sector.

**$40.00 per hour + Super + overtime + allowances**

**7.6 hours per day / 38 hours per week**

**The Role**:
You will support our Maintenance Area Teams who are responsible for ensuring our customers receive consistently high quality and reliable water, wastewater, stormwater and recycled water service. Other duties will include:

- Clean-up and restore worksites
- 6 weeks training located at Preston's Depot
- Wastewater clean-ups after sewer overflows
- Assist experienced crews on-site
- Locate assets indicated on maps
- Use of power tools and machines (e.g., Excavators) when needed
- Handle and transport materials and equipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform labouring tasks (e.g., digging, site restorations, wastewater clean-ups)
- Assist other crew members by delivering materials and equipment necessary to complete projects on time

**Requirements and skills**:

- Must have Civil Labouring experience
- MR Drivers licence
- White Card or willing to obtain
- Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Reliability and punctuality
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is desired but not essential
- Willing to undergo pre employment medical
