Together let's redefine retirement living for senior Australians. **The Opportunity** Domainé Retirement Living is a community set on beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, favourably located in the heart of Doncaster in peaceful leafy surrounds. You will work closely with Chef Manager and the hospitality staff and residents, you will oversee the Cafe operations to success by providing exquisite F&B services, catering options and ideas for functions. This is a hands-on role where you will enjoy being hands-on in meal and drinks preparation, understanding food safety principles and ensure sufficient supplies of goods & ingredients. Most importantly, you'll have a passion for food, your team and the residents **Permanent Part-Time** - 4 Days a week (no weekends)** **10:00 t0 14:30** **What we offer** - $30.68/hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation - Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program - Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers - Opportunities for further career progression - Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community **You will** - Be responsible for all Cafe operations - preparing daily meal and drinks services - Ensure the physical spaces within the Cafe amenity are conducive to resident utilisation and in keeping with the standard of the community. - Work closely with your team to deliver great service, ensure events are running smoothly and work with residents when they wish to host functions (e.g Melbourne Cup, Ladies Lunches etc) - Monitor food safety checklists, compliance checklists and ensure strict adherence to all OH&S policies - Provides an "ownership" culture and business acumen that delivers revenue targets. - Complete stock management of all goods including ordering, rotation and amendments - Following up on day-to-day operational issues including maintenance and cleaning **What you'll bring** - Qualification/Certification in business, hospitality, or restaurant management highly desirable. - Kitchen & Barista Skills with working in a café environment. - Retirement Living experience desirable. - Barista training or certification - Current Police Check clearance and minimum two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required) **Who we are** As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
