Our service is located down the road from the Byford train station and around the corner from Byford Secondary College.

Essential Qualifications- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.- Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.- Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.- Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.- Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.- Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
