Are you an experienced Laundry / Cleaning Officer with a positive attitude and at least 12 months experience working in residential aged care?
- Hours: Part time
- Pay: $24 - $25.50 per hour
- Location: Merrimac, Gold Coast QLD

**About the role**

We are looking for people who genuinely care and in return, we will provide you with an environment where you will feel supported and appreciated.

You will provide safe, effective, quality services to our residents, which is consistent with Hill View’s mission. This will include but not be limited to, assisting with cleaning resident rooms, common areas, washing and folding linen, resident personal items and much more.

The Environmental services is responsible for ensuring the cleaning and laundry needs of residents are met in accordance with standards determined by management of Hill View Aged Care.
- Certificate III in Cleaning and or Chemical training
- 12 month’s experience working as a Cleaner/Laundry assistant within Aged Care, including experience with dementia residents
- Flexible to work across both aged cares located at Ashmore and Merrimac
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Adaptable to change and enjoys working in a team environment
- Have permanent Australian Residency or Citizenship
- All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance certificate and flu vaccination
