- Using SNMP based monitoring tools like SolarWinds
- Digital mobile radios communication protocols including P25
- PTP and PMP microwave radio link installation, configuration and maintenance
- Microsoft Operating Systems in both desktop and server environments
- The use of storage solutions including HPE Primera storage and the use of VMWare suite of products
- Switches and routers (Cisco and Moxa), Security devices (Fortinet and Moxa)

**Programmed is seeking Communication Technician to work at our client site Hunter Valley Operations**

**As part of the role, you will have**:

**Be familiar with**:

- Using SNMP based monitoring tools like SolarWinds
- Digital mobile radios communication protocols including P25
- PTP and PMP microwave radio link installation, configuration and maintenance
- Microsoft Operating Systems in both desktop and server environments
- The use of storage solutions including HPE Primera storage and the use of VMWare suite of products

**Required experience**:

- Storage solutions including HPE Primera storage, VMware ESXi 6.5
- Design configuration and implementation of network solutions using switches, routers, wireless devices and firewalls ensuring security policies and practices are maintained to a high standard

**Essential Qualifications**
- Currently studying a Tertiary qualification in Information Technology
- Cisco Certified Network Associate
- Cisco Certified Network Professional
- VMware Certified Technical Associate
- VMware Certified professional
- Fortinet Network Security Associate (NSE 1,2,3)
- Fortinet Network Security Professional
