We are currently servicing Redlands, Ipswich, Logan, Gold Coast, Lowood, Stanthorpe & Toowoomba areas. **What you'll be doing** - General domestic cleaning and tidying maintaining client homes to a high standard - Washing floors and other surfaces - Vacuuming and dusting - Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. - Changing bedding - Assisting with laundry and organizing personal spaces - Provide sorting assistance to the “Assistance Care and Housing” program - Providing companionship and ensuring clients feel comfortable and cared for **What are we looking for in our Domestic Assistants?** - Compassionate Nature: A genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life. - Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in cleaning and organizing, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. - Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic to maintain trust with clients and their families. - Good Communication Skills: Ability to listen, empathize, and interact positively with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met. - Patience: Understanding and accommodating the varying needs and paces of elderly clients. - Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the specific requirements of each client and their home environment. - Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively to meet clients’ needs. - Problem-Solving Abilities: Resourcefulness in addressing challenges that may arise during daily tasks. - Respectfulness: Honouring the privacy and dignity of clients, treating their homes and belongings with care. - Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physical tasks, such as cleaning, lifting, and moving items, while maintaining a positive attitude. **What are the minimum requirements?** - Be eligible to work in Australia - Open Current "C" class Qld driver's licence - A roadworthy, registered and insured vehicle - NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or current Yellow Card) - A First Aid/CPR Certificate - Current Flue Vaccination - NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate **Benefits for joining STAR**: - Competitive salary package + benefit of NFP salary sacrifice options.
