Trainee Arborist/groundie

Do you have an interest in climbing trees and working outdoors? We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to undertake an arborist apprenticeship at Thornleigh No previous experience is required

The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III in Arboriculture and learn skills such as:

- Ground-based rigging
- Tree maintenance
- Identifying and pruning trees
- Falling trees
- Climbing Techniques

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- A willingness to work and learn
- Is reliable
- Able to follow Work Health and Safety procedures
- Has a white card, TFN and appropriate PPE

Pay rate is from $12.38 for apprentices under 21, and from $19.81 for apprentices over 21 per the Gardening & Landscaping Award.

Pay: $12.38 - $19.81 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
