**Description**:
About the Role
- As Manager of, Family Participation Program the role will effectively coordinate the activities and staff of the Family Participation Program (FPP) team to ensure the delivery of an accountable, effective and culturally strong FPP service to deliver a service to reduce the disproportionate representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in the child protection system.
- The Manager will lead a team and act as a resource of knowledge and guidance to staff, stakeholders and families, with the goal of securing the safety of children. This is to be achieved by a strong focus on empowering the voice of families and building the personal ownership and motivation to change in efforts to help children remain safe in the family through supporting and facilitating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Family Led Decision Making (ATSIFLDM).

**Skills and Experiences**:
**Essential**:
Bachelor qualification in Social Work/Human Services/Psychology/Sociology/Criminology/Counselling or relevant field and/or five (5) years’ experience in relevant human service field e.g. Child Protection, Family Support, Youth Support, Youth Justice, Disability, Housing, Domestic Violence.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a practitioner or front line position in similar field
Minimum 12 months demonstrated experience in managing a team in a Team Leader, Team Coordinator, Manager or similar role and/or in an acting role.
Ability to work in a performance driven environment and meet month-to-month program targets
Requirement to travel across Brisbane and Logan and work at multiple locations
Demonstrated experience in overseeing and coordinating case management processes and procedures.
Ability to lead, guide and manage people including the implementation of cultural change and change management opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to meet targets/performance outcomes.
Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
Ability to utilise participative management practices and adopt a supportive, stimulating management style to achieve real and tangible quality outcomes for clients.
A willingness to travel across the ATSICHS Brisbane and Logan region of services and work across different sites.
Working with Children’s Card (Blue Card)

**Desirable, but not mandatory**:
Experience with PowerBI or similar dashboard target system
