The role The Manager role is responsible for managing a program of governance activities for health portfolio statutory agencies including the Hospital and Health Boards, Hospital Foundations, Health and Wellbeing Queensland, the Office of the Health Ombudsman, the Queensland Mental Health Commission, the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (trading as QIMR Berghofer), mental health authorities and state boards of the National Boards of Australia.

**This role offers an exciting opportunity to**: - lead, develop and manage the effective performance of the OHSA team. develop and maintain resources, protocols and guidelines aligned with whole-of-Government requirements to ensure best practice governance. monitor and promote health statutory agencies' compliance with legislative or other whole-of-Government policy requirements, such as annual reports and strategic plans, including providing feedback and advice for continuous improvement to agencies and/or the Minister for Health, Mental Health and Ambulance Services and Minister for Women, as well as the Director-General. manage the significant appointments processes to health statutory agencies in accordance with requirements and timeframes mandated by enabling legislation as well the Governing Queensland suite of Handbooks. develop and implement innovative process improvement activities.
