**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Producing clear and concise drawing packages (including fabrication drafts, assembly drafts, profile packs for steel processing and schematics) to be issued for new equipment builds and existing equipment upgrades
Producing equipment lists and Bills of Materials (BOM) for new builds and existing equipment upgrades
Updating drawing packages to capture changes and modifications made during the fabrication and assembly process for new equipment
Performing basic engineering calculations, as required, supported by the Lead Engineer
Assisting with compiling and managing Material Data Reports (MDRs) and equipment certification documentation
Compiling operation and maintenance manuals, and keeping up to date with current information
Producing General Arrangement (GA) drawings, renders and site plans for planning, promotion and sales purposes
Liaising with the workshop and field operations personnel in capturing changes and modifications to reflect the current state of existing equipment
Undertaking works in accordance with the Quality Assurance (QA) process
Managing and growing Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) model parts libraries, drawing borders and CAD software releases and updates
Undertaking work compliant with Australian Standards, especially with technical drawing standards
**Skills and Experiences**:
**About You**:
Preferably more than five years of experience in CAD design and drafting of mechanical plant and equipment
Experience in producing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Experience with hydraulic and electrical schematics
Proficient in the use of Solid Edge and 3D CAD such as, Solidworks or Inventor
Familiarity with measurement techniques and the ability to accurately measure and model parts and equipment
Familiarity with the relevant Australian Standards for producing drafts
Experience with technical writing and producing technical documentation
Proficient with using the MS office suite, especially Excel
The ability to work cooperatively
Ability to work unsupervised
High degree of self-motivation
Close attention to detail
