**Your Role in the Bigger Picture**:
As a Trades Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our Building Operations division, supporting a variety of maintenance and minor construction projects. Your day-to-day will involve keeping our community spaces safe and well-maintained providing efficient and effective maintenance works and services, minor work and emergency repairs to Council’s building assets, shopping centres and open space assets

We’re looking for someone who is eager to roll up their sleeves and jump into action, all while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. If you have a knack for problem-solving and enjoy working in a team, this is the job for you

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- You will have NSW Construction Induction Card (White Card) and a Class C driver’s licence as well as experience in supporting trades maintenance or construction works
- An Elevated Work Platform Licence (EWP), Scaffolding Certificate, or MR Licence would be desirable
- Familiarity with Work Health and Safety (WHS) processes and experience working at heights
- MR Licence or other tickets and licences would be a great to have.

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated within 2 weeks of closing
- **Package**:$56,800 to $60,000 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Permanent Full-Time 38 hours per week - 9 day fortnight
