**About the Opportunity**
Working closely with the Lifestyle teams, you will be an integral part of our organisation, providing essential transportation services while enriching the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful experiences.

Your day will involve driving the bus, helping residents of differing abilities on and off the bus, ensuring proper record keeping and logs for the bus and cleaning the bus as required.

**You will be assisting with**:

- Assisting with equipment transfer eg residents mobility aids in/out of the bus
- Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other's needs
- Engaging with residents during excursion.
- Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
- Share with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift, a list of residents you have spoken to and information on topics discussed
- Participate in business planning processes and policy and procedure formulation and improvement within your area of responsibility
- Deliver a high level of customer services, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers
- Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all times
- Abide by all relevant road rules and health and safety requirements

**Essential Criteria**
- Drivers Licence (LR or HR is ESSENTIAL)
- Experience driving a bus
- Manual handling experience
- Safe driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and team members
