Cyber Security Analyst

Our client, a leading electronics retail business that operate across Australia & New Zealand, seeks an experienced Cyber Security Analyst/Engineer to join the team and manage all day-day Security related, operational based activities across the business [SecOps]. This is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level where you will have overall responsibility for the data assurance and governance.
You will work closely with Infrastructure resources, vendors and suppliers and assist with the maintenance of the risk register related to Security/Risks/Vulnerabilities, then coordinate and drive activities to remediate. You must be an enthusiastic and delivery focused, Cyber Security professional with a can-do-attitude.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain detection and response capabilities using existing vulnerability tools - Sophos [NTR] - Ivanti [access control, PAM]
- Monitor and manage all security related alerts and dashboards to aid with threat detection.
- Assist in the management of IT Systems - O/S [Windows & Linux]-VMware - Patch Management.
- Drive security related policies and procedures.
- Receive and review all security related bulletins/trends with a view to using and prioritising the information to create a plan of action.
- Coordinate and manage the vendors and suppliers to meet SLAs.
**Experience required**
- Strong background in Cyber Security operations and day-day management.
- Knowledge of Security frameworks, essential eight / NIST...
- Knowledge of security principles and processes.
- Experience in developing alerting rules and dashboards to assist with threat detection & incident response.
- Experience in managing Windows and OR Linux environments.
- Strong background experience in Operations - Infrastructure & Security.
