**About the Role**
Civiltest Pty Ltd, a leading provider of laboratory and technical services in Western Australia, is currently seeking a skilled **FIFO Soil Technician** to join our dynamic team. This full-time position involves conducting a broad range of soil testing and analyses to support infrastructure, mining, and construction projects across the state.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct complex soil testing procedures, including moisture content, density, particle size analysis, and Atterberg limits
- Accurately document and report test results in compliance with industry standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine testing requirements and provide technical support
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory and field equipment to ensure consistent, reliable results
- Follow strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines in both laboratory and on-site environments
- Work with the broader technical team to identify and implement process improvements

**What We're Looking For**
- Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or a related technical qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar soil testing or laboratory role
- Strong knowledge of soil testing procedures and relevant industry standards
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality results
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel to remote sites on a FIFO roster
