Head of Valuations

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Valuations to lead our valuations division nationally to achieve our growth and profitability targets. Our Valuations division has an excellent reputation for offering a prompt, accurate and compliant service across Australia for plant and equipment and industrial valuations for a range of clients.
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Ensuring all valuations are planned and conducted in an efficient, accurate and customer focused manner by the team.
- Maintaining our existing client base and securing new market relationships and opportunities.
- Completing quality plant and equipment and industrial valuations for clients from a variety of industries - both internal and external desk top valuations along with formal sighted valuations requiring travel.
- Taking a proactive role in ensuring timeliness, quality and compliance in every aspect of the Valuations offering, and that valuations are planned and conducted to ensure the best possible outcome for both the client and Grays.
- Promoting effective, proactive and positive relationship and stakeholder management within the team.
- Leading and championing new and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing, coaching and developing valuations team members at various stages of their careers to support them to succeed in their roles.
- Ensuring compliance with WH&S requirements and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Contributing to a positive, proactive, customer focused and accountable culture at Grays.
**We’re looking for someone who has**:
- Demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Accredited Australian valuations qualifications (ASA/API/AVAA).
- Strong experience in valuations and a ‘hands-on’ approach.
- Qualifications in project management (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience in successfully building and managing internal and external (including client) relationships.
- Proven capability in leading a geographically dispersed team to achieve business outcomes.
- Strong business acumen and ability to think critically and commercially.
- A positive, proactive, team and client-focused attitude.
- The ability to travel regionally and nationally as required.
