Job title: General Pest Technician

Hours: Full time role at 40 hours per week, flexible hours starting at 25 hours per week

Location: Gympie to North Brisbane, including but not limited to the following suburbs: Sunshine Coast, Caboolture, North Lakes, Redcliffe, Manly, The GAP

Purpose of the position

To join our expanding team of pest technicians across South East Queensland providing the very best experience to our customers and community. Demonstrated through our passion, patience, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities and duties

Residential general pest control:

- Inspect buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation or pests
- Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate the pests
- Take the required measurement of the area that needs treatment
- Use different pest control methods such as setting of traps or baits
- Design and carry out a pest management plan
- Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building and create effective pestcontrol measures to prevent pest infestation.
- Issue customer service reportsWork standard: Number of call backs will be monitored to asses if the correct products and procedures are being followed

Commercial pest control:

- As per residential pest control with the addition of
- Maintaining site registers
- Communicating pest management plan with key decision makers
- Updating frequency of visits depending on infestation level
- Adhering to HACCP standardsWork standard: Monitored through customer surveys and our in-house auditor. Academic and trade qualifications

Essential qualifications
- Current Queensland pest management license
- Full driving licenceWork experience and skillsDesirable experience
- At least 1 year experience as a general pest technician
- Timber pest licence (an advantage, however training can be provided) Personal qualities and behavioural traitsEssential qualities or behaviours
- A passion for the industry
- Good communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
