**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team to provide poly welding and technical service advice, support and skilled labour to meet customer needs and expectations.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- PE Fusion Welding: Expertly perform buttweld, electrofusion, extrusion, and socket fusion on pipes and fittings, ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Fabrication and Preparation: Accurately measure, cut, and prepare all materials based on technical drawings.
- Quality and Compliance: Inspect welds, maintain detailed records and ensure all work meets relevant standards and codes.
- Equipment and Maintenance: Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot welding and fabrication equipment to minimise downtime.
- Safety and Teamwork: Actively promote a safe work environment and provide support to warehouse operations and logistics.
**About You**
You will hold an appropriate Poly Welding Trade Qualification and all relevant licences/certifications, as well as possessing a current Australian Drivers Licence. A Forklift Licence is highly desirable.
- Expert Poly Welding: Demonstrated expertise in operating welding equipment for polyethylene, proficient in butt fusion, electrofusion, extrusion, and socket fusion methods.
- Precision & Accuracy: Exceptional ability in measuring, cutting, and aligning pipes, ensuring precision in setup and weld execution.
- Technical Literacy: Effective communication skills, with the ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Safety Focus: Unwavering commitment to WHS and safe work practices, specifically related to plastic material welding.
- Teamwork & Efficiency: Highly organised, with strong time management and record-keeping skills to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
