As the Catering Clinical Areas Supervisor, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of ward-based staff involved in all aspects of the provision of food and beverage services to patients, staff, and visitors within the staff cafeteria and clinical/procedural areas of the hospital.

The role is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the pantries/departments and all equipment therein is maintained, and for controlling waste

**To be successful in this role, you will have the following**:
**Essential**

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Experience working in a Food and Beverage environment at a supervisory level.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

- Accreditation as a Food Safety Supervisor to be maintained as current.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure.

- Outstanding attention to detail.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office programs

- Able to work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

- Valid Working with Children Check (WWC) to be maintained as current.

- Able to work both within the Clinical environment, and in kitchen areas

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of OH&S Act and regulations, Food Act and regulations, National Standards, and code of practice relevant to catering.Knowledge of Allergen management

- Formal training in HACCP principles

- Degree or Diploma in Catering / Hospitality
