Assist the Program Manager, Director of Service, Wellbeing and Inclusion Manager in our new school **(ACT Nicholls 2913)** program, and have a positive impact on the children in your care.

**The 2IC role**

As a 2IC or Second in Charge, you will work alongside the Program Manager, Director of Service and Wellbeing and Inclusion Manager in delivering an exceptional experience for the children in our care. This will include:

- Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program (programming)
- Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.
- Interact with our parents and help them with enquiries wherever possible
- Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies, etc when the Director can't attend.
- Play and have FUN with primary school aged children
- Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program

**_Service operating times:_**_ Before school care, 7:00am - 9:00am, After school care, 2:45pm -6:00pm, Admin time included - Total 30 hours per week._

**_Staffing structure:_**_ This is a large service, and TeamKids has put together a unique staffing structure to support the needs of this school, to ensure the upmost support is provided. This will include, a full time Program Manager, full time Director of Service (x2), Second in Charge (x2), Permanent part-time educators (x10) and a pool of casual educators._

**_School Specifics - _**_This is _**_one_**_ service, that caters for _**_two_**_ separate schools, all on the same site. Beautiful, spacious environment with a mix of dedicated spaces and a big shared hall. This is a large service, with joint facilities. Commercial kitchen on site_. _Working with two schools that are super keen and excited to work collaboratively._

**You**
- You’re passionate about kids, have loads of energy and can just love to have fun
- You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude
- Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you
- You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written
- You are looking for stable, permanent part time hours - up to 25 per week.
