**About us**

The Loddon Mallee Region provides services at Justice Service Centres in Bendigo, Swan Hill, Echuca and Mildura and at outreach locations across the region, including Castlemaine, Maryborough, Kerang, Robinvale, Kyneton and Ouyen. The region also has three prisons, two within the Loddon Prison Precinct which includes a medium risk facility (Loddon) and a restricted minimum facility (Middleton). Tarrengower Prison is the third prison which is a minimum risk women's facility located at Maldon.

**About the role**

In the Loddon Mallee Region, the Justice Officer role specialises in one of three streams - Human Resources, Finance, and Business Support. Over time, there may be an opportunity to work in one or more of these streams, on a rotational basis, enabling career development opportunities and operational flexibility to the region. Appropriate support and training will be provided.

In this role, you will:

- contribute to the delivery of personnel and payroll services to Loddon Mallee Region prisons
- provide relief, support and assistance in a range of corporate service functions within the Region as required
- coordinate staff movements, relevant to the location, in consultation with managers
- coordinate, attend and provide administrative support for a range of events and meetings at various locations.

- well-developed computer literacy and understanding of working within a correctional environment
- sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations
- excellent problem solving, customer focus and interpersonal skills.

This includes evidence of all doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

Acceptable evidence includes:

- **COVID-19 digital certificate or ATAGI exemption certificate **(available via your **myGov** account)**
- **Your immunisation history statement (available via your **myGov** account)**

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
