**Position Summary**

This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Applecross. The position is responsible for providing construction analysis, planning data, strategies, and methodologies for the Project to enable timely execution of works in a cost-effective manner. This involves planning, coordinating and analysing the schedule to identify key project issues, tracking sub tier contractors’ performance and progress, performance, managing the integrated plan/schedule and developing strategic plans/ methodologies to mitigate delays to construction.

**Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to**
- Using MS-Project and Primavera P6 8.3 develop a project baseline schedule in accordance with Scope of Works, Contract Drawings, Client’s Programme Specifications, Contract and tender estimated Labour Hours, Risk factors associated with activities, and with coordination of Project Manager, Site Manager and Site Supervisors.
- Convert tender into project plans for the purpose of estimate validation and, upon award, to serve as tool in the Project Controls and Project Management process.
- Develop the construction methodology on the basis of the project program.
- Provide project managers with timely, informed, and up-to-date project planning information including Quantity Unit Rate Report (QURR) for Earn Value Management & Progress Monitoring / Reporting.
- Gather and interpret project data from a variety of sources to support in planning and monitoring duties.
- Perform other duties within the organisation that may be necessary to suit operational requirements.
- Take responsibility for your own safety, uphold the Company OHS&E policies and participate in Company OHS&E initiatives.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in project planning within the construction industry.
- 10+ years’ experience in the Construction industry.
- Advanced skills in creating, managing, manipulating complex, resource loaded schedule in Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project.
- Field related construction experience is essential.
- A9001 quality systems knowledge.
- Experience working on multi-disciplined projects.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
- Strong communication and interfacing capabilities, essential for collaboration with diverse project and corporate teams.
- A forward-thinking mindset, ready to embrace and drive change.
