A engineering company providing solutions in marine, mechanical and other industries currently have great opportunities available for Engineering Mechanical apprentices to join their team. They are currently offering apprenticeship positions in Fitting and Fitting & Turning.

As an apprentice you will work in a well equipped workshop, use specialist measuring equipment and a range of hand tools, power tools, equipment and machinery.

Apprentices would generally be involved in:

- maintenance of plant and equipment
- repair of equipment and machines
- setting up of machinery to enable the manufacture of engineering products
- repair and replacement of components, parts or other items
- installation of plant and machinery
- design and manufacture of modifications to existing components parts and other items
- fluid power (hydraulics) or pneumatics work
- construction and commissioning work
- pipe fitting work
- welding and fabrication operations
- some machining operations.

You will also work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical trade

To be considered for this position you must have a car and licence, be willing to learn, proactive, safety conscious and committed to an apprenticeship.
