Situated in the heart of Epping, The Y Leisure City is an awesome recreational facility delivering programs and services in areas such as Aquatics, Health & Fitness and Sports & Recreation for all ages. Our Creche service offers a safe, fun and stimulating space for children 6 weeks to 5 years, offering flexible support for families.

**Description**

Then you might just have spotted the perfect role for you. **What’s the Opportunity** We’re on the lookout for early learning Educators to join our Creche/Occasional Care Limited day service at Y Leisure City in Epping. As a Creche Educator, you will have a genuine concern and interest in the wellbeing and educational needs of young children and will provide a high level of customer service and communication with parents and guardians. This position is based at our Leisure City recreation centre in Epping, which operates a Creche/Occasional Care Limited day service. The service operates between 8:30am-1:30pm during school terms only. We are seeking a part-time educator that can commit to 18-20 hours per week, as well as casual opportunities available. As a valued member of the Y Team, you will:

- Work as part of a team to ensure high level care and supervision of children.
- Assist with routines such as nappy changing, feeding, toileting and tending to children’s needs as required.
- Liaise with parents and provide positive feedback regarding their child/children.
- Undertake general administration such as bookings, statistics, telephone enquiries, and contacting customers on waitlist as directed.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children in our care.
- Set up and pack away equipment in accordance with room requirements.
- Complete general cleaning duties such as bathroom, toilets, toys and equipment.
