**Introduction**:
**About the role**:
As a Home Support Worker in the Southern Adelaide region with Kalyra, you will be responsible for helping older people remain as independent as possible. Taking a collaborative approach to care and a "do with - not for" approach, it means you will have the ability to identify an older person's strengths, gifts and talents and empower them to live the life they want to live.

**On any given day you may be responsible for**:

- Assisting with personal care
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Medication prompting
- Social support & transport

**About you**:
You will be passionate about community services with an interest and a love for helping older people. Whilst you don't need a Certificate III to get started, you will be open and willing to undertake training. You'll also need:

- A driver’s licence and reliable vehicle is essential
- National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one before commencing employment
- A smart phone - having access to the mobile worker app is essential
- Flu and both covid vaccinations + covid booster once eligible
- More than 3 days availability across 7 days
