As a care service worker, you could find yourself doing any of the following roles:

- Attends to personal needs of all residents.Includes but not limited to the following
- All activities of daily living such as showering / hygiene care, dressing, grooming, eating / drinking, mobilizing, transferring, toileting and continence care programs and rehabilitation programs.
- Spiritual, cultural, emotional and lifestyle needs.
- Observing, responding appropriately to, managing and reporting challenging behaviours.
- Follow the specific guidelines provided by the Care Plan for each resident
- Call on Registered Nurse/Endorsed Nurse/Supervisor for guidance, clinical support and advice.
- Observes the condition of all residents and reports any changes to the RN/Supervisor promptly.
- Documents resident care in clinical records as soon as practicable.
- Administer medications as per the approved guidelines,policy and procedures
- Participates in basic wound care under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Perform tasks as per duties list that support and assist in the provision of a clean, comfortable, safe and secure environment.
- Works and liaises with all other team members to provide co-ordinated care to all residents.
- Is empathetic with elderly and or disabled people and is able to be calm and understanding in any dealings with them.
- Relevant experience in aged care preferred but not mandatory
- Flexible with shifts
- Physically fit to perform the requirements of the role
- Willing to work in a team
- Complete a Pre-employment medical functional drug and alcohol test if required.

**_ Salary : $44,795.92 p.a_**

**_Hourly Rate: $22.67 p.h_**
