**_About the Role_**

Due to continued growth of the business, we are seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters to join our team for upcoming an ongoing opportunity based in Lytton, QLD in the Oil and Gas industry. This is a Mon-Fri position with overtime essential. Working out of our Lytton facility with potential requirements to travel for project work.

**_Duties will include but not limited to:_**
- 12 months experience working on shutdowns and preventative maintenance projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Prior experience working in a refinery environment would be advantageous.
- Experience with vessel and heat exchanger inspections and repairs.
- Experience in working on columns, drums and reactors is desirable.
- Petro Chemical experience will be highly regarded.
- Hy-Torque and Tensioning experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and P&ID’s.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.
- Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised.

**_Requirements & Experience Needed:_**
- Possess formal Trade Qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter & Turner or an equivalent recognised trade certificate.
- Working at Heights (obtained in the last 2 years).
- Confined Space Entry (obtained in the last 2 years).
- Breathing Apparatus (BA), desirable.
- Gas Test Atmosphere (GTA), desirable.
- Current Driver's License.
- Flange Management Training (advantageous).
- Nationally recognised Construction Card (White or Blue Card).
- Full Australian work rights.
