Maintenance Assistant

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

- Cleans warehouse floors,offices,break room,and restrooms by operating self-propelled floor scrubbing machinery,and by sweeping,mopping,spraying and wiping. Follows departmental procedures and standards for cleanliness and performance of duties.Restocks supplies.
- Empties trash from designated areas throughout the warehouse.Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler.
- Checks daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs.
- Builds and repairs fixtures, structures and displays. Measures, cuts, affixes, shapes, sands and paints various materials. Purchases supplies and parts for maintenance and repair jobs.
- Reapirs plumbing problems, installs and maintains plumbing fixtures.
- Participates in janitorial duties. Follows dpartmental standards for cleanliness and performance of duties. Responds quickly to clean up spills.
- Checks daily schedule for assigned tasks. Cleans and maintains grounds and building, performs roof checks.
- Follows proper maintenance and general safety and security procedures.
- Assists in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
- Provides prompt and courteous member service.

- Maintains grounds outside warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter, roof checks, and building maintenance.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

- Assists with front end duties as necessary.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
