Key Duties at **Modernistic - Dandenong**
- Interpreting project plans, accurately measuring areas, and marking surfaces to lay out tile installations in line with Modernistic’s standards and client expectations.
- Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing existing tiles, grout, and adhesives; filling cracks and holes; and ensuring surfaces are clean and level for optimal tiling results.
- Using professional tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and areas around fittings and pipes, ensuring a precise, custom fit.
- Ensuring tiles are evenly aligned and spaced, maintaining a consistent and visually appealing layout throughout the project.
- Grouting tiles after installation, thoroughly cleaning surfaces, and removing excess grout for a clean and professional look.
- Laying specialty flooring such as granolithic, terrazzo, cement-based, or other composite materials depending on project scope.
- Designing and installing decorative tile features, including mosaics, using coloured tiles arranged in custom patterns.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
